Advantages of accepting foreigners with specific skills

long term and stable Ensure immediate work-ready.

In order to obtain a specific skill residence status, foreigners must pass the skill level examination set by each field, so they have the knowledge and skills to be able to work immediately after being hired. The pass rate for the exam is less than 20%, which shows that the knowledge and skills of those who pass the exam are solid.

The time required to enter the country is short, allowing to quickly resolve the shortage of human resources.

In the past, technical intern trainees needed more than half a year to obtain entry permission, but those using the Specified Skilled Worker System can enter the country immediately after passing the local exam, allowing them to work quickly.

There are restrictions on changing jobs, reducing the risk of leaving your job.

Foreigners with specific skills are allowed to change jobs, but this is limited to the fields in which they hold the skills qualification. Therefore, it is unlikely that they will be conscious of changing jobs, and we can expect them to be active for a long time.

Full-time employment is possible as there are no restrictions on working hours.

If you have a status of residence other than Specified Skilled Worker, there may be restrictions on working hours and you may only be able to work part-time. However, with the exception of some fields, foreigners with specific skills are basically directly employed. In addition, full-time employment is also possible, so you can seek work similar to Japanese employees.
